Duke Health Virtual Caregiver Support Group

The Duke Cancer Patient Support Program’s Caregiver Support Group is a virtual support group offering professionally facilitated guidance for caregivers of individuals affected by cancer. Caregivers can benefit from the group by gaining emotional support, sharing experiences, and learning practical strategies to manage the challenges of caregiving while maintaining their own well-being. This group meets via Zoom on the third Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Registration is required.

23rd Annual Fall Cancer Conference: Cancer Caregiving

This conference is designed for individuals who are involved in cancer treatment and education of cancer patients and their families: oncology physicians, primary care physicians, oncology nurses, oncology nurse practitioners, clinical research associates, health educators, social workers, psychologists, chaplains, and other interested health care professionals involved in cancer care. Patients, caregivers and community members are also encouraged to attend.

The CANO/ACIO Annual Conference is an opportunity for oncology nurses to connect with their peers and improve their professional knowledge in the areas of oncology nursing, patient engagement and interdisciplinary practice.
